Speaking to Le Parisien newspaper for its Thursday editions, the youngest child of the late Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier says she isn't directly involved in the upcoming wedding, to be held starting July 1.
Asked if her input is being sought, the twice-divorced princess, 45, smiled and replied, "Well, no. But that's okay."
Albert and Wittstock "are taking care of it all," says the princess. "Me? I'm planning on enjoying this great moment of happiness for my country, my brother and for all the Monégasque people."
She adds, "I'm very happy for him. Like all little sisters, I want to see my brother happy. It's a demonstration of their love and happiness that I'm seeing, which has been theirs for a while now."
Of her current life, working on behalf of charities, and her tabloid-worthy reputation in the past as a so-called "wild child," Princess Stephanie also says, "I don't regret a second of my life, good or bad, because they've made me the woman I am today. And I'm comfortable with her."
