Last month, Vaughn and wife Kyla Weber celebrated the birth of their first baby, Locklyn. And after nearly a month of diaper duty, Vaughn says he wants his baby to learn her name – not a movie reference.
"If I just called her 'Baby,' then she'll love the movie Dirty Dancing, but she won't know her proper name," Vaughn, 40, tells Ellen DeGeneres on Friday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "No one puts her in a corner."
Now that the The Dilemma star has two leading ladies in his life, he says he's "very, very happy."
"I met the best girl in the world," he says of his wife of one year. "It gives you such a great purpose in your life. If I would've met her, I would've done it a long time ago."
He adds: "Sometimes, in our industry, well, I speak for myself – maybe that's an excuse – but you don't mature always at the same time, so I was very fortunate that when I got ready and was open to that, then that person came into my life."
