The actor "does intend to marry next month," his attorney Lance Spiegel told a Los Angeles judge on Wednesday.
Grammer, 55, who's in the midst of a divorce from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer, recently got engaged to girlfriend Kayte Walsh.
Although Grammer's wife Camille, 42, had objected to the actor being granted a quick divorce, Judge Maren E. Nelson stated she was inclined to grant Grammer's request.
But attorneys on both sides are due back on Feb. 7 before Grammer can be declared legally single again.
Camille's attorney Neal Raymond Hersh argued Wednesday that he wants assurances that his client's pension plan would be protected in the event of Grammer's remarriage.
