Sir Elton John may think that he's been relegated to street performer at the upcoming royal wedding, but Jane Lynch wants the singer to know that he'll always have a home on Glee.

When told about Matthew Morrison's plan to bring his duet partner to the show as Sue Sylvester's love interest, Lynch Gleeked out.

"I love that idea, and I'm all over that idea," the actress told PEOPLE at the Entertainment Weekly pre-SAG party. "From [Morrison's] lips to Ryan Murphy's ears!"

Jane and John may get along well, but would Sue Sylvester and the man who penned "Candle in the Wind" find something more in common than a penchant for comfortable pant suits?

"Absolutely," Lynch says with the confidence of a woman that knows her character. "'Someone Saved My Life Tonight' is probably her favorite ballad, so I don't think he would have any problem."
