Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres
An intruder was arrested for trespassing at the Beverly Hills property of Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi on Thursday, Feb. 10, her rep tells PEOPLE.

"The property is protected by a 24-hour security team that detected and detained the intruder until she was turned over to the custody of Beverly Hills police officers, who arrested her," the rep said in a statement.

"The intruder never entered the actual residence, and did not make any contact with either Ellen or Portia. Ellen and Portia appreciate the fast and effective response of BHPD officers."
