Every year before the Grammys, one artist is honored as MusiCares's Person of the Year. This year, the honor went to Barbra Streisand, who also performed at Sunday's Grammy Awards.

While stars and music industry insiders gathered at the Los Angeles Convention Center to honor Streisand, the evening was marked by plenty of food and loving performances, including tributes by Glee's Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, Faith Hill and Kristin Chenoweth, among others.

Before the concert began, though, assembled guests sat down for a three course dinner (see full menu above), which began with a beet salad, topped with dried figs and an orange sesame dressing.

For the second course, diners enjoyed anise braised beef short ribs and a mushroom-stuffed chicken breast, as well as a multigrain pilaf.

And what about the performances?

Streisand, 68, sat with hubby James Brolin and watched as Leona Lewis tackled "Somewhere" while Herbie Hancock and Nikki Yanofsky teamed up for "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever." Hill's rendition of "Send in the Clowns" brought chills to the crowd – and Diana Krall set fire to "Down with Love," as she accompanied herself on piano and was backed by a jazz ensemble.
