1 MICHAEL SCOTT, THE OFFICE
He's the obvious one, but there's no way you can not include Steve Carell's Michael Scott on this list. He's just such a great character, one of the funniest to ever grace our living rooms, and matches Ricky Gervais' (David Brent) in hilarity and poignancy.
2 SCOTT BAIO, CHARLES IN CHARGE
Even as a little kid, I was like, "Wow, this is great because it's so terrible!" I'm, like, 9, and I can recognize the irony of this show being quite bad. I like my terrible shows to be of quality, and Charles in Charge is of the utmost quality of sh--ty television.
3 SCOTT VALENTINE, FAMILY TIES
Anyone that can get a catchphrase going ("Yo, Mallory!"), you've got to hand it to him. And ever since he was on, I cannot kick the urge to roll the sleeves up on my leather jacket.
4 SCOTT THOMPSON
The fact that he was on Kids in the Hall and The Larry Sanders Show means he's in the Hall of Fame for me.
5 SCOTT SAVOL, AMERICAN IDOL
I was rooting for him, and then he started being frightening. Sometimes we would just take cover: "Savol's coming-I wonder if he can see us through the TV?"
