Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones | PG-13 |

Unknown sure looks like Taken, Neeson's hit thriller from 2009: A badass gent runs around a foreign city, putting the hurt on anyone who keeps him from what's his. But in this one, Neeson's ruthlessly capable character, Dr. Martin Harris, is looking for his identity, not his kid. And Unknown isn't as logical as Neeson's kidnap movie, or as much fun. After a car crash in Berlin wipes chunks of his memory, Martin wakes from a coma to find that his wife (Jones) doesn't know him, another guy (Aidan Quinn) claims to be him and men are trying to kill him. With help from a comely cabbie (Kruger), Martin tries to reclaim his life. Yes, Neeson is great as the hunter and the prey, but Unknown has one too many eye-rolling plot devices to forgive.
