"I am so ready for love," Burke told PEOPLE at the Open Hearts Foundation Inaugural Celebration at actress Jane Seymour's Malibu estate. "I have a feeling it will happen soon."
Past relationships "have always gone from 0 to 60," Burke, 26, says. "It goes from 'nice to meet you' and then he's my boyfriend, we talk about kids and marriage, and then we break up six days later. I can't wait to meet the guy that I take things slow with. I can't wait to go on a first date for the first time in my life."
And if things don't go as she hopes they will, Burke jokes she could always follow in the footsteps of her fellow Dancing pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who stars in a Ukrainian version of The Bachelor.
"I could be the Filipino Bachelorette," says Burke, who watched the promo for her colleague's upcoming show and feels it's a perfect fit for him. "It's all about Maks. That's the best kind of show for him."
