"I'm going to hang out with my little girl this time around," Adams, 36, who's been nominated twice before, tells ET when asked about her plans for the big day.
This nomination – a Best Supporting Actress nod for The Fighter – is more meaningful than the previous ones, Adams says, because of 9-month-old Aviana.
"It's special because I have a daughter now, and she can see mommy and all of that," says the actress.
Adams was nominated in the same category for 2005's Junebug and 2008's Doubt. But this year she's part of a movie that's being more widely celebrated, with seven nominations overall, including Best Picture.
"I'm excited to celebrate with the cast and crew of The Fighter, Adams says of Oscar night.
