Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller Reach Custody Deal

The custody battle over Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's twin boys is over – for now.

"Brooke and Charlie have reached an agreement that resolves their differences," their attorneys said in a joint statement Thursday after two weeks of intense negotiations. "For the benefit of the children, the terms of their agreement will not be disclosed. They ask the public for privacy on this matter."

The agreement comes after Mueller won a restraining order against Sheen last week that temporarily stripped Sheen of all custody rights for their twin boys, Bob and Max, 2, after she alleged he made death threats against her.

In her filing, Mueller also raised concerns that Sheen had become mentally unstable and that she was in fear for her and her boys' lives.

Legal experts say it's likely Mueller will eventually ask the court to withdraw or amend her restraining order, which forbade Sheen from communicating with Mueller and their children.
