Following the lead of Darius Rucker, the Staind singer veers into country on this solo EP. He proves to be a natural on nostalgic ballads like "The Story Never Ends." But three versions of the single "Country Boy" is a bit much.

With her moody, even spooky allure, this British singer-songwriter-who sometimes brings to mind a darker Florence + the Machine-conjures up a debut album that feels like it could be the soundtrack to a David Lynch or Quentin Tarantino film.
