Designer Lourdes Leon and model Kelly Osbourne talk about the new spring line from Material Girl
What inspires you and your Material Girl style?
Lourdes: Everything. Music, the kids at my school: They have ridiculous style, the boys and the girls. Some celebrities too. Whatever I think is cool.
Kelly, Lourdes is 14 and you're 26. How is the line relevant to you both?
Kelly: I think it kind of embodies a little bit of every woman. I walked in the house wearing one of the studded leather jackets from the last collection. My mom asked where I got it and said she'd totally wear that.
Does your mom, Madonna, wear anything from the collection?
Lourdes: She wears a lot of the jackets and accessories.
If you could choose only five pieces that speak to your style sensibility, what would they be? Lourdes: My Alexander McQueen scarf, the black one with gold skulls; my Alexander McQueen clutch; my white Dr. Martens that I'm wearing now; my Material Girl army jacket, which I wear a lot; and probably black eyeliner.
Kelly: My Jimmy Choo biker boots that I stole from my mom; my black-and-white midriff top; my denim vest; my favorite cardigan-a comfy, grandpa-like cardigan; and a good pair of black jeans. I'd also sneak in a few pairs of lashes.
