Olivia Wilde's marriage to a prince does not have a fairy tale ending.
The actress has filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Italian prince Tao Ruspoli.
Wilde, 26, filed papers at a Los Angeles Superior Court on March 3, citing irreconcilable differences.
The House M.D. star, and Ruspoli eloped in 2003, but mutually agreed to separate earlier this year. They have no children.
According to papers, Wilde has asked that the court refuse any spousal support for her husband, but property rights are still to be determined.
Four days before filing, Wilde was spotted sharing brunch and an aquarium outing with a new guy – Ryan Gosling.
