She's the unflappable judge on Dancing with the Stars. But Carrie Ann Inaba was rendered speechless when her boyfriend of two years, accountant Jesse Sloan, surprised her and proposed last week on Live! With Regis and Kelly.

"I'm still in shock," Inaba, 43, told PEOPLE before Monday's episode of Dancing.

As reality sinks in, the Dancing judge will focus on the business of wedding planning. "I'd like to get married sooner rather than later," she says. "He's the right person, and I just have this feeling of let's just keep moving forward."

And although no date has been set, Inaba knows for sure that the wedding will include "dancing, singing and nachos."

"Nachos," the Mexican food lover says, "are a must!"

Also a given? "We know we want to get married by the ocean because it has such a spiritual meaning. It's so vast and yet it unites everyone," Inaba says. "We want everybody to get their feet wet in the water after we say our vows."

Despite her eagerness, Inaba insists, "there's no rush." In fact, she and Sloan, 39, are thoroughly enjoying being engaged.

"It's like we already are married – I feel that close to him. So whether it's this summer or next summer, it will just be based on how quickly we can pull it together," she says.

Besides, thanks to the very public way they became engaged, the two already feel like newlyweds. Everywhere they go, she says, "It's like we were walking on clouds. We were greeted with smiles and warmth and love. The happiness on people's faces has been so beautiful."
