Cinco de Mayo: Cheap Trick Mashes Up 'Surrender' with a Mariachi Band

05/04/2011 at 03:40 PM EDT

Looking for some appropriate tunes to go with your chips and salsa for Cinco de Mayo on Thursday?

Try a classic rock favorite with a dash of Mexican flavor. In honor of the holiday, the band Cheap Trick has mashed up their 1970s hit "Surrender" with the stylings of a lively mariachi band.

The rockers show they're still going strong as they share a stage with sombrero-wearing trumpet players, creating a sound that, believe it or not, goes great on the rocks or frozen.
