The starlet attended photographer pal Tyler Shields's exhibit, "Life Is Not A Fairytale," Saturday night in a warehouse in East Los Angeles for the unveiling of several artful shots in which she portrays a vampire.
"Lindsay loves vampires," Shields told PEOPLE at the star-studded bash. "It's well documented that she is a vampire fan, and I said we need to do the craziest vampire mouth shot ever with her mouth."
The set of four displayed photographs – taken a couple of months ago – plays up Lohan's red lips and fangs, including a provocative photo with Vampire Diaries actor Michael Trevino in which he bites her neck.
During the party, Lohan seemed to be in great spirits as she chatted with Shields and her sister, Ali.
"She's an amazing actress," said Shields. "I've shot Lindsay probably 20 times and nobody has seen any of it. This is the first little taste."
