HOW DID YOU ENJOY WORKING AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER ON EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION?
The experience was such a life-changer for me. It challenged me to not think like a designer but to design for their personalities and really make it special.
HOW DID YOU NOT LET YOUR EMOTIONS GET THE BEST OF YOU?
[I'm] inspired by these people who have been through hell and have risen above.
LAST SUMMER YOU SPLIT WITH YOUR BACHELORETTE FIANCE, ED SWIDERSKI. WHAT HAPPENED?
It was probably one of the lowest points in my life. One of the things I realized is you can't force somebody to love you or to see things from your perspective. That doesn't make them a bad person.
DO YOU TWO STILL TALK?
Yes. Just in this past year, there were times I'd hear his name, and my heart would crack in half. It has not been easy to transition from being madly in love to being friends. There are times I think that mistakes were made and times I think maybe we could still try.
SINCE YOU'RE SINGLE, WILL YOU GIVE BACHELOR PAD A TRY?
No Bachelor Pad for me! It would be strange for people to see me changing lives Sunday night and then making out on a couch Monday night.
