Daredevil motocross rider Travis Pastrana performed his best trick yet last weekend – he pulled a ring out of his pocket.
The star of MTV's Nitro Circus proposed to longtime girlfriend Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins in Las Vegas during an exhibition motocross event on Saturday night.
As the event kicked off, Pastrana – clad in his motocross outfit – interrupted the in-house announcer to thank everyone for being there. He then referred to Hawkins as "the love of my life" before proposing to her (where else?) on a motorcycle ramp.
Immediately after the proposal, Elvis's "Can’t Help Falling In Love" was played in the arena as Pastrana and Hawkins, a professional skateboarder, kissed.
Pastrana, 27, told the crowd he’d initially planned to propose to Hawkins, 21, at the end of the Nitro Circus Live show later that evening, but he was too nervous to wait.
"This is a stunt that’s going to last the rest of our lives," he told the crowd.
The newly engaged couple later celebrated at Las Vegas's Studio 54, where Pastrana conducted a 100-person champagne toast while presenting Hawkins with a dozen roses.
