The fun, fun, fun, fun
is over: Rebecca Black's much-buzzed about "Friday" video was removed from YouTube
on Friday – appropriately.
The wildly viral video, which became an overnight sensation
because of its catchy – and absurd – lyrics, was pulled offline by Black's lawyers, who accused the producers, Ark Music Factory, of copyright infringement and unlawful exploitation of the aspiring pop star's publicity rights, reports the Hollywood Reporter
The dispute over which party owns the rights to the song will go to court if the contract disagreement cannot be resolved.
For now, the YouTube page reads, "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Rebecca Black."
