Pottermore Unveiled! J.K. Rowling Launches New Web Site

The site, Pottermore, enhances the reading of the seven novels by featuring newly commissioned illustrations and interactive "moments" that follow the action in the books.
"I wanted to pull it back to the reading, to the literary and story experience ... I've had a lot to do with virtually every aspect of it," the author, 45, told reporters in London, according to Reuters.
The free site will launch in October but is accepting email addresses now for alerts on how to register.
The site will also offer the seven novels as e-books for the first time. But don't expect an eighth novel from Rowling.
"I do have closure with Harry," she said. "I have no plans to write another novel. I'm pretty sure I'm done on the novel front … But it was fun while it lasted."
And for those Muggles who are just wild about Harry: As it celebrates its first birthday, Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter is giving away each week for the next month (ending July 15) two trips to the Florida theme park, including airfare, tickets, hotel.
To enter the contest, post something about your experiences, either past or future, by going to the "Share a Story" link on the park's Facebook page.
