The actor, 50, and actress, 45, separated in 2008 for several months, the same year that the Californication star entered a rehabilitation center to be treated for sex addiction. But they reunited and soon seemed closer than ever.
The couple first met early in their careers when they were both interviewing for the same guest spot on the Tonight Show. They married in 1997.
They have two children – daughter Madelaine West, 12, and son Kyd, 9.
