Sonja may be bankrupt, but that didn't stop her from throwing an over-the-top party on Thursday's episode.
Though nearly $20 million in debt, The Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan decided to throw a lavish burlesque-themed party for her friends and fellow costars at the Hotel Empire.
In preparation for and during the party itself, Sonja generously offered some entertainingly offbeat moments. Shopping at a costume store, Morgan met her "twin," as she called him – a salesman in women's attire and a blonde wig.
Later, displaying her outfit to a fashion designer friend, she revealed, "My nipples go east and west."
And at the party, she performed her own burlesque routine – with feathers, cleavage and a lot of leg lifting – while she delivered such dramatic lines as, "Jealous bitches are usually the snitches."
This made some of her costars wonder if she was referring to them.
