The actress's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told the judge Lohan hasn't been able to maintain her UCLA psychological treatment because of "financial issues." But that didn't sway the judge, who gave Lohan 21 days to show proof that she's enrolled in counseling.
"If she doesn't have the means [to pay for it], she's got to find someone to help her out," Judge Stephanie Sautner said at the hearing.
Lohan then indicated to the court she'd figure out a way to make it work. Complicating matters, she says she can't attend more affordable group counseling because paparazzi issues would disrupt the sessions.
The actress, 25, was in court for a standard progress report and was acknowledged to be in good standing in general.
She had served just 35 days of home confinement at her Venice, Calif., townhouse for pleading no contest to misdemeanor necklace theft.
The judge also warned that Lohan must complete all her community service hours by year's end. Lohan will be on probation for the next three years, and her next hearing is set for October.
