If you want a workout to be a little more fun and a little less work, it's nice to have a friend.
For Hilary Duff, that means going for hikes with her pups, and she did just that as an ambassador for Danskin's new Move for Change campaign, which aims to foster women's health and wellness.
"I really hike, and I usually bring my dog," Duff says. "I live in a place that is crazy traffic all day, every day, and to be able to come into the mountain, hike and see other people – I really love that. I find that when I'm working out, I live a healthy lifestyle."
And it's true that Duff really gets moving with her pets. The actress frequently Tweets about the walks she takes with her five dogs: Dubois, Coco, Lola, Jak and Rue. So for her outdoorsy photo shoot with Danskin, Duff brought Dubois along, and they made their way up the L.A. hills together.
"He's a really good dog. He's a rescue so he's got his little quirks," Duff says of Dubois. "But he's a really good hiking buddy to have – he sticks it out with me."
