Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber had their arms around each other as they took in the festivities at The Surf Club in Montauk, N.Y., during a birthday bash for Allure magazine's editor-in-chief Linda Wells. The party took place at the venue's outdoor space – and there was plenty of entertainment. Jimmy Buffett sang "Happy Birthday" and the band Playing for Change performed. Guests also noshed on mini burgers, lobster rolls and birthday cake.
Claire Danes and hubby Hugh Dancy started their day sipping coffee poolside in East Hampton, N.Y., and then ended it also poolside – at the premiere of her new Showtime series Homeland, as a romantic full moon reflected on the ocean. Also at the Cinema Society event, which was held at a private home: Paul McCartney and fiancée Nancy Shevell. The two nibbled on pizza, which they brought with them, as they watched the show.
Shakira, cheering on soccer stud (and boyfriend) Gerard Piqué as his team, FC Barcelona, played in Dallas, Texas. The singer also stopped in to Morton's the Steakhouse, where she shared a ribeye and porterhouse steak with her group. And the singer was happy to pose for pictures with the staff, a source says.
Gene Simmons and fiancée Shannon Tweed dined with six guests – who bid on dinner with them in a charity auction – at RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen in Century City, Calif. The couple enjoyed the restaurant's signature beef and chicken samosas.
