In the wake of her estranged husband's suicide
on Monday, a "devastated"
Taylor Armstrong is now grieving in private.
"She's not talking to anyone, she's not leaving the house at this point," a source tells PEOPLE.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
star released a statement Tuesday requesting privacy in order to comfort her daughter Kennedy, 5.
"Taylor is behind closed doors, surrounded by her family," a source tells PEOPLE. "She's with Kennedy."
It's been a very difficult month for Taylor, 40, who filed for divorce
from Russell, 47, on July 15, citing physical and verbal abuse. She is also being sued
for more than $1.5 million for breach of contract.
While the future of season 2
of Beverly Hills
– which was expected to document Taylor and Russell's troubled marriage – is reported to be delayed, according to The Hollywood Reporter
, the premiere party for Bravo's hit reality show has definitively been canceled. The cast of Beverly Hills
was set to celebrate its new season Aug. 24.
