Natalie Portman may soon be a working mom.
The Oscar-winning actress, who welcomed her son Aleph in June, has reportedly been in informal talks for the lead role in the indie drama Adaline.
A rep for Portman says she turned down the role, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The film follows the story of a woman who was born at the turn of the 20th century but does not age since being in an accident. After living her life alone, she meets a man that may be worth giving up her immortality.
Portman, 30, won an Academy Award last year for her role as a mentally unstable ballerina in Black Swan – and met her choreographer fiancé Benjamin Millepied while working on the film.
