Online reports that Britney Spears's boyfriend and former agent, Jason Trawick, is planning to propose are false, a rep for the singer tells PEOPLE.
Trawick, 39, was spotted meeting with high-end jeweler Pascal Mouaward in Los Angeles Monday afternoon, sparking rumors that they were discussing diamonds for the pop star.
"There is no truth to that report with regards to engagement rings," a rep for Spears said in a statement. "However, Jason was there to discuss other matters with Pascal, but nothing relating to him personally."
Spears, 29, recently wrapped up the North American leg of her Femme Fatale tour. She and Trawick have been dating since 2009.
