David Arquette Gets Dancing with the Stars Advice from Courteney Cox
David Arquette had a loving cheering section at Monday night's season 2 premiere of Dancing with the Stars – his daughter Coco, 7, and her mom Courteney Cox, who offered her favorite contestant a bit of advice.
"She was like, 'Don't be so hard on yourself. You did a great job. You really move like a dancer. You can win this if you work on it,' " Arquette told PEOPLE after dazzling the judges and the audience with a Viennese waltz with pro partner Kym Johnson.
"Dancing with Kym has been such a joy and honor," Arquette, 40, said of the Australian pro, who took home the mirror-ball trophy last season. "She's an incredible professional. She's an amazing teacher and a beautiful dancer."
Coco also seemed pleased with her father's performance. "It's a beautiful thing for her to experience this and see these amazing dancers and see her dad up there," he said.
Arquette and the other season 13 contestants will face their first elimination Tuesday (9 p.m. ET), on ABC
