Looking every inch the proud parents, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy enjoy a stroll on Monday at La Lanterne Park in Versailles.

Cradled in her mother's arms is their 12-day-old daughter, Giulia.

This is the first time the couple have been seen out with the baby, and Giulia is the first child born to a ruling French leader since Napoleon, in 1811.
