This has truly been an extraordinary journey that I will cherish forever. I am so proud of what we accomplished and how far we came. But, I really cannot take the credit. It has been all Tristan from the get-go.
How can I say goodbye to so many new and wonderful friends: all of the other stars, the dancers, the producers, the wardrobe team, the hair and make-up departments, the crew? It is a magical family, and I am blessed to be a part of it!
I want to take this chance to thank you for all of your support, the love, emails, letters, phone calls and votes on Dancing with the Stars. Because of you, Tristan and I made it to the top five. And, for 8 weeks, I was able to dance for my twins and for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
I set out to show the twins that, if you believe and you work hard enough, dreams do come true. And, that when the chips are down, never stop trying to keep your chin up.
Most of all, thanks to Tristan MacManus. I don't know if you will ever read this, but you, not me, are the "star;" I'm sure the world saw that every night we danced on air.
And, we will be back on the dance floor for the big Dancing with the Stars season finale on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
