Game of Thrones Season 2: Take a First Look

Let the games continue.

With the sophomore season of Game of Thrones months away, HBO released a behind-the-scenes look at what's next for the show.

"One of the great challenges of the second season is that the world just expanded enormously," David Benioff, executive producer and writer, says in the clip. "Not only do we introduce a great number of new characters, but we're journeying to all new locations."



And season two will have plenty to answer – newborn dragons and the fate of the throne following the death of lead male Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark (played by Sean Bean) are just a few of the mysteries – when the hit fantasy series returns in April.
