Tiger Woods Wins First Golf Tournament Since Sex Scandal
Tiger Woods's 2009 sex scandal may have irreparably ruined his marriage, but his equally suffering career is apparently on the mend.
On Sunday, the 35-year-old athlete – whose divorce from Elin Nordegren was finalized in August 2010 – won his first golf tournament since news of his cheating broke two years ago.
"I feel very comfortable," Woods told reporters during a press conference following his win at the Chevron World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Sunday. "Was I nervous? Absolutely. People don't realize how hard it is to win golf tournaments. They're not easy."
Woods put his career temporarily on hold to complete sex rehab shortly after he confessed to having his extramarital affairs.
