Jersey Shore Crew Have Raucous Homecoming for Season 5

Home is where the heart is. But for the Jersey Shore crew, it's also the where the fighting, drunkenness and general mayhem are.

Arriving in New Jersey after a season in Italy, the cast of the MTV show spare little time getting back to their wild and crazy roots, judging by the just-released trailer for season 5, premiering Jan. 5.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi get into a major fight. Vinny Guadagnino announces he's leaving the shore house. And a huge bar brawl erupts in Seaside Heights that leaves Sorrentino bleeding.



The cast come ready with the one-liners, too.

"This is Hurricane Situation and it's headed straight for Snooki Island," Sorrentino says at one point. As she preps for an evening out, Snooki observes: "I look like a Jersey skank, and I love it."

They're all clearly happy to be home. As Sorrentino says: "We're back in our habitat, and I'm ready to tear the speakers off this joint."
