Ricky Martin says he'd like to add a daughter to his family – which already includes 3-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino – but that, contrary to reports that surfaced over the weekend, the openly gay star has no plans to marry boyfriend Carlos Gonzélez Abella on Jan. 28. Or any time soon.
After his rep first denied the marriage rumor to PEOPLE En Español, Martin, 40, also told Latina magazine, "We are not talking about it, we're not thinking about it. But I'm so happy that in Europe we have the option. It's amazing to think that we can say, 'I feel like it. I'm ready. Let's go.' "
Proud papa Martin, who will be playing revolutionary Che Guevara in a Broadway revival of the musical Evita that will open in March, also tells Latina that his sons should have a sibling before they get too much older.
"I think that I'll do it later on this year, so that [the kids] are not too far apart in ages," Martin says. "A little girl! Dios mÍo, me muero ... But we're going to talk about that later on. It would be irresponsible to do it now."
