Even before Drew Barrymore became officially engaged to Will Kopelman, she hinted that settling down was in her plans for the future.
Speaking to InStyle magazine two months before the couple announced their engagement, Barrymore, 36, touched upon the "stable, normal kind of vibe" in her relationship with Kopelman.
"It's really positive," she says. "I'm super happy."
Barrymore was previously married to comedian Tom Green, and briefly to club owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994, but the former child actor says she's now seeking stability.
"As I've gotten older, I've really wanted to find more balance and calm," she tells InStyle.
Barrymore also said that Kopelman, 33, has seamlessly merged with her close-knit group of friends, which includes her longtime BFF Cameron Diaz, as well as Jimmy Fallon, Barrymore's costar in Fever Pitch, who is also married to her best friend and business partner, Nancy Juvonen.
"It's just the best!" Barrymore says. "We go on group trips and spend holidays together. There's a lot of love."
