Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner

The official cause of Natalie Wood's 1981 death remains accidental drowning, as investigators say they have found nothing to dispute that in the two months since they re-opened the case.
"At this point, it is an accidental death," William McSweeney, chief of detectives for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, tells the Los Angeles Times.
"Nothing has been discovered to suggest changing that at this time."
The case has not been closed, but McSweeney said it is unlikely anything new will be uncovered about death of the actress, who was 43 when she died.
Sheriff's officials re-opened the case in November, saying they had new information about Wood's death, some of it apparently from Dennis Davern,
the captain of the yacht that Wood was sailing on the night she drowned off Catalina Island.
Wood's husband, Robert Wagner, and her Brainstorm
costar Christopher Walken were also on board that night. The autopsy ruled the death accidental, though the incident has long been shrouded in gossip and speculation.
