Channing Tatum Hides Love Notes for Jenna Dewan

He's been married for nearly three years, but Channing Tatum isn't slowing down when it comes to wooing wife Jenna Dewan.

"I see caring for somebody as a creative outlet," The Vow actor, 31, told PEOPLE at a press gathering for the movie last week.

"I like drawing little faces and writing little stories and hiding them in places."

His love notes to Dewan, 31, don't come without a twist of humor, though.



"I'm a practical joker. My favorite one is putting one under the toilet seat," he said with a laugh. "She always wakes up before I do, so I enjoy the surprise of 'Haha! I got you!' "

In his latest role, Tatum plays a husband who has to make his wife fall in love with him again after she loses her memory in an accident. The star admits that sometimes it's easy to get "distracted ... and forget about being thoughtful" in everyday life.

But it sounds like Dewan is one of the lucky ones when it comes to partners. "I don't think it's that hard to be thoughtful," said Tatum, "especially when you do care about the person."
