Defeat is a bitter pill to swallow – especially at the Super Bowl.
Perhaps it was made a bit easier for Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady, whose wife Gisele Bündchen was on hand to comfort him in Indianapolis on Sunday night, after losing 21-17 to Eli Manning and the New York Giants in a suspenseful fourth quarter.
But playing the supportive footballer's wife means more than just being a shoulder to cry on. The supermodel was caught on camera defending her husband after being heckled by fans.
"My husband can not f––ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," she said, taking a dig at Brady's receivers. "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
