Having already demonstrated his fancy footwork on the football field, is Tim Tebow ready to step onto the ballroom floor?
Affirmative, according to most-recent champ on Dancing with the Stars, J.R. Martinez.
Saying he and the Denver Bronco quarterback – and Jockey brand underwear model – recently ran into one another, Martinez tells Celebuzz.com, "We chatted about [Dancing"]. ... I thought he'd do pretty well on the show!"
Only not this season. "He said, 'Maybe in a year,' " said Martinez.
Apparently, this is a growing movement. Only last month, Karina Sminoff proudly declared that she wants the 6'4", 24-year-old not only on the show, but as her partner.
"He can run, jump, pass, throw touchdowns," she told PEOPLE. "All [that] is missing is to see if he has the dance skills. That would make him an all-around athlete, and someone that I would love to dance with on the show."
