Looks like Justin Timberlake
loves an adventure! The singer-actor recently rang in his 31st birthday in the rugged back country near Fernie, British Columbia, where he stayed at a local resort, Island Lake Lodge, with a large group of friends for three days. Timberlake and his pals were there for the off-trail snowcat skiing and snowboarding, but there was also opportunity for relaxation.
According to a source, the chefs prepared a special birthday cake for Justin's
dinner party, and he was thrilled by the attention.
While there, a newly engaged Timberlake
stopped into a local outfitter, Commit Snow and Skate, to pick up some equipment for his trip, the store's owner confirms. According to a staff member there, Timberlake was "excited and looked forward to some cat skiing" and he came in to shop with a group of people.
Though employees were mostly mum about Timberlake's stay, buzz built about his visit in the community. According to the Calgary Herald
, "There was a lot of talk in town. Lots of word of mouth. A lot of people had heard about it or knew about it." – Christine Kilpatrick
