Oh, do I have a lot to say about this week's episode of The Biggest Loser, and I'm sure you do as well, judging from all your comments last week (and yes, I do read them). It's clear from what you've all been saying that there are lots of different perspectives here and some strong opinions.

Sitting in the weigh-in and feeling the tension between Adrian and the rest of the red team was not easy. Each week, I try to be the facilitator of conversation and to keep everything moving along. I struggle with when to interject and when to let situations play out. Some are very easy – giving Chism his moment when he lost 13 lbs. and led the black team to victory this week. Others, like the elimination room for this season with the red team, are not so easy.

Walking out of the weigh-in, I knew it was likely that Adrian would not be on campus for another week. Mark's conflict with him about his weight loss in his first week was looming, as was the team's inability or unwillingness (depending on which team member) to gel with him.

In the end, Adrian did get eliminated, but I know that he has the determination to prove the red team wrong and to fight for the at-home prize. While his time on campus was limited, the end of the episode, when we saw all he's accomplished, makes me believe he's a real contender.

Back on campus, if the red team has to go into the elimination room next week, that will create some interesting drama for their tightly wound team. It was a tough week for them – losing the challenge, having Dolvett drop into freezing water, working out without their trainer for the week and then losing the weigh-in. But, this is the season of no excuses, and I know Dolvett won't let them make any!

This week I have two favorite moments, and I can't choose only one. I'm torn between the look on Bob's face as he took his position above the pool in freezing conditions for the challenge (believe me, he was not happy!) and watching Dolvett as he watched his team work out and seeing the frustration mount as he couldn't just walk in the gym and do what he does best.

What was your favorite moment? What did you think about Adrian this week and how the red team handled his elimination?

Until next week, Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to love yourself and your loved ones, always.
