Whitney Houston's legacy will live on at Sunday night's Grammy Awards.
Jennifer Hudson, whose own powerhouse vocals have been compared to the late singer, will perform a "respectful musical tribute" during the CBS broadcast, Grammy Executive Producer Ken Erhlich tells the Los Angeles Times.
"It's too fresh in everyone's memory to do more at this time, but we would be remiss if we didn't recognize Whitney's remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and, in particular, her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years," Erhlich says of the six-time winner, who died
Saturday at 48.
Chaka Khan will also reportedly join Hudson on the stage to commemorate Houston, whose death is currently under investigation.
