Whitney Houston's family is preparing for her funeral as the coroner on Monday released the singer's body following a weekend autopsy.

No cause of death was determined for the 48-year-old singer, who was found unresponsive in the bathtub of a Beverly Hilton hotel room on Saturday. She was later pronounced dead.

"The investigation is ongoing," Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says. "It's too early to tell."

The coroner is conducting toxicology tests that don't require the presence of the body.

"The family is making arrangements," Winter says. "I don't know when the family is going to have her body picked up. But they are making arrangements and sometimes it takes a couple days."
