After Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries came to an end
after just 72 days, the former Olympian, joined by wife Kris Jenner on a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show
, says he "can tell if it's going to work or not" when he meets a potential bachelor.
In fact, he tells Ellen DeGeneres
, he "had my questions" when Humphries sought his approval to marry Kardashian while the two were playing golf.
"In the back of my head I said, 'I don’t know if she is going to say yes,' " he recalls. " 'But it's not my decision. Go for it.' "
At the time, he says, he considered the situation as a whole. Kardashian, 31, was ready to get married and start a family. She was in love.
"Maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions," he says about the entire brood, which also includes Kourtney Kardashian
, 32, Khloé Kardashian
, 27, Rob Kardashian, 24, Kendall Jenner, 16, and Kylie Jenner, 14.
But momager Kris Jenner
says she trusts her kids' judgment.
"It's our job to support them, so I don't question some of their decisions," she says. "Obviously, we have internal conversations … 'What the hell are you doing?' "
