The Olympic skater already married Russian law-school graduate Victor Voronov in a small civil ceremony in New York on Dec. 30, but now Weir has pushed back their plans for a big summer reception so that they can have a star-studded winter wonderland instead.
The skater's ultimate dream? To have his friend Sarah Jessica Parker officiate the ceremony and then take to the ice for a spin and a jump or two while Lady Gaga sings.
"We might try to incorporate figure skating," Weir, 27, told New York's Daily News on Monday, adding that the theme of the over-the-top celebration will be "snow, sparkly white and Russian."
Sounds like a pretty nifty way to work in a new routine while he trains for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
