Frankel says she was recently pregnant for eight weeks before having a miscarriage, she revealed during an interview Monday on the Today show.
"That was a very emotional experience," the teary-eyed Bethenny Ever After… star, 41, who welcomed baby Bryn with husband Jason Hoppy in May 2010, says. "Until you become a woman, you don't know the things that come with it."
She adds: "The window is closing, and it's something I'm dealing with."
Frankel, whose show returns for the third season Monday, says she's grateful for her daughter, but as for trying to have another child, "I'm not really thinking about it."
"I have thought about other women more than myself," she says. "I can't believe what people go through if they can't even have the one. ... You go through a roller coaster of emotions about it."
