The infant, born Thursday in Stockholm, is named after her maternal and paternal grandmothers.
Now second in line to the throne behind her 34-year-old mother, the baby girl will be given the title Duchess of Ostergotland, her grandfather, King Carl XVI Gustaf, announced Friday.
Crown Princess Victoria wed Prince Daniel – her former trainer – in June 2010.
