Lindsay Lohan has claimed in the past that she's "in the clear" of trouble.
Now, she says, she knows that her actions will have to speak louder than words.
"I still need to go through the process of proving myself," Lohan, who's hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, tells Matt Lauer in an interview that will air on Today Thursday.
She adds: "You know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my – can't say the word – but stuff together."
Along with booking the Saturday Night Live gig, the former Mean Girls star, 25, also just got a rave review from L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, who said, "You seem to be getting your life back on track."
With her legal problems nearly over, Lohan says she's a different person now, and that she's gotten partying out of her system.
"That's not my thing anymore," she says. "I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody, and I like that."
